workshop 4 color and lighting

here is a link for the instruction

atmosphere- mood or feeling of a place.
mood feeling
location a place where something is set

picture 1 Katness is running though town to go hunting in the woods.

warm light- red yellow or red tinge, cozy, warm, welcome

cold light blue, green, white, grey makes the place feel sterile, clean, modern

bright obvious , feel happy, energetic
dull faded/muted light

natural sun reflections, moon, stars, lighting, fire-occurfrom nature
artificial light bulbs, LEDS light

technique cold light lots of greenery, dull, natural lighting

colorful pellet district green, black, browns, greys

poverty materials are out dated live closer to land

director purpose theme rich vs poor who has more privlage, power and obstinacy they dont have the privilege of technology no artificial light

other techniques costiumes-greys/black-coal miners black shoes less dirty

name the scene and whats happening

scene name train station at the capitol
cold, bright, artificial- electricity
effect on the viewer
colour vibrant, vivid , modern
rich vs poor privilege
 power and opportunity

better sewing technology because the costumes are better
privilege to watch the tribute arrive

in the scene at the train station color and lighting and colour are used substanclily to show the them "rich vs poor" in this case rich mean being privileged but being poor mean you are not as privileged. pellets of whites and grey for the building blues and pinks are used for clothing. this makes the audience feel like the location is modern and citizen are existed for the trubutes to arrive. this worked well with counsels in the capitol where unique which shows they have more acses to clothing. this can be juxtaposed to the codation in distric 12

sexxxy paragraph

Where are these shots from? + what is happening?
Katniss, Effie, Gale, D12 citizens, Primrose, Peeta, Peace-keepers
Beginning.

Costume d12 - poor clothing, grey, worn, dull, simple, limited, best clothes for the reaping
scene.
costumes reflect the setting

Food source.

What theme are we exploring?

  • Rich v poor
  • Capitol = rich ones
  • Effie

Describe the features of costume
  • Bright colours, more designed/fashionable, has makeup, jewelry

Effect on the viewers

Directors purpose

Techniques

Links

Step One- For your Statement you need to state the technique you wish to discuss in
relation to your image.

Step Two- Then you need to describe the Example for the reader (remember they may
not have seen the movie so you need to give detail so they can follow your argument).

Step Three- Then you need to Explain the PURPOSE this technique has on the viewer.

Step Four- Then you need to Explain the EFFECT  this technique has on the viewer.

Step Five- You can then link your ideas to your main argument, to another moment in the
film  or to the wider context.

In the reaping scene, Costumes are used effectively to show the theme of Rich v Poor. We
see this when the people of District 12 are waiting for someone to be chosen to represent
their District.Explain how simple machines can be used to affect forces
The lifestyle of District 12 is reflected in the clothes that they wear. These clothes are made
of a limited material, they are dull, boring. This makes us understand that costumes
represent the theme Rich v poor, in the capitol and the Districts. There is a difference
between the opportunity, power and privilege between District 12 and the Capitol.
The director did this to make the audience understand how costumes can symbolize
the inequality between the Capitol and the Districts. This symbolism combined with a wide
shot of the crowd in District 12 and an over the shoulder shot of Effie reveal the lack of
opportunity in district 12 and the power of the capitol. This aspect can be contrasted to the
character of Effie, she wears a bright pink outfit that has a lot of design behind it revealing
the opportunities given to characters in the Capitol.

what am I learning  how to make a sexxxy paragraph better

how does this show my learning  by make the paragraph more better

paragraph 3

Katness volunteered to be the replacement for primrose  because she did not know how primrose would do in the hunger games.

in the hunger games effie pulls out a name it tuns out to be primrose. the auther did this to show us how people reacted to a curtain person. this show that primrose was not ready by the looks she was given so her sister Katness volunteered to take her place in the hunger games. at this moment other people looked not as shocked to see this happen. the director did this to show how quick things can happen

paragraph 2

Rue's death

In the movie the Hunger Games Rue get shot by an arrow then katness  go to see if she is alright In about five minutes she was dead. this shows the risk that she was willing to take by entering the games. the director did this to show the dangers of a fight even if they have a one up on you such as a weapon that has the option of life or death. this can be compered to when Cato was fighting Peta on the rock when Peta was about to fall but Katness shot the arrow at peta caught it then stabbed Cato with then he fall off then got attacked by the animals.

Katness got the name girl on fire because in her first appearance on the big stage in the huger games her jacket had a fire effect and on her dress when she won the hunger games.

From the film the hunger games katness was found to be the girl on fire. This shows that she could get hurt and burn but its just like an effect to makes her look like shes on fire. The director did this to make the audience think that she was really on fire. This worked well with her outfit to make it look more realistic. This aspect can be constructed to make the audience think that she has a life risk.

Cerulean is like the sea.

The sky is a cerulean colour just like the ocean.
In my dream the tree's were a cerulean blue.
my new car has a cerulean colour and the sky is blue and water is too
Look up at the cerulean fall sky once more to feel the sun.
The sky is cerulean
The sky was a dull grey, until the sky turned cerulean blue.
