My Progress so far:

life cycle of a seed

first you plant the seed then you water it then it will start to grow but it will take a bit of time then when it grows you water it  every day or two

I did a limerick  so how the kids in the class and me did

  first  two sentience rhyme the third and  forth 

rhyme and the last line rhymes with the first and second 

  

I went outside to play with my ball

But sadly the ball hit the mall

It set off the alarm

And I tried to keep calm

But soon the police get a call.

sunken frost

hi I am Phillip 

I am telling you about the story sunken frost  

so here is some of the things that happened 

matt was accused of steeling money form the old lady 

then matt was sent to lake waikaremoana 

then he fond a watch that belong to satch 

and his father and satch was relieved and satch gave him a award a mettle the same as his fends pull and azura  

Kete taitutanga = sustainability. The Lorax movie

On a wet Monday we watched a movie called the Lorax.  In the movie a kid called Ted wanted to impress this girl.  She showed him some painting she did of some trees.

Then he went to the Once-ler and he said he had cut down all of the trees so the village was polluted.  The air was dirty and the Lorax warned him but he did not listen.  The Once-ler cut down all of the trees and he had made it so all the animals could not live there.

So then as time passed the Once-ler got old and gave Ted the last seed.  Ted ran back to the village then the villain tried to get the seed.  Ted came to his house  but the  villain could not find it so he left and his mum went in her car so one of the guards chased her and he torgth that she had the seed but no she did not so the villain and the other guard found Ted got to plant it in time.


The key concepts were:
don't cut down tress because you can make bad air, it only takes one person to make a differences and

I think the creator of this story had a message I think the message is don't cut down trees to make bad air
My reflection:
I like the lorax movie because it talt me that I should not cut down trees.

trip to Orana Park Wildlife

Term Three

This term we have been doing a lot of stuff like going to Orana Wildlife Park. This week we got in to groups I was in 2.E and we got to see the animals there, where saw lots of animals, like Gorillas, Kiwis, Lions, Cheaters, Geckos and much more.
My favourite was the gorillas and one was outside of the gorilla house. There were three gorillas and
one was as strong as eleven men
The kiwis are nocturnal so they live in a dark room. I did see a kiwi but it was hard to see because it was really dark.
We then saw the lions. They were in the cage and one got up woke up another one then went to back sleep. The lion did the same thing but to different lions.

I enjoy seeing the gorilla because they are big and strong.

I also liked the cheaters and seeing all the other animals.

3.grab a scrap of bobbles
4.hold the bobbles up in front of your face as far away from you as you can lock you elbows


1. Put some water into a container and squirt in some detergent
2. Connect the gas hose to the taps and make gas bubbles in the water.
3. Rub cold water on your hands, wrist and up to your elbows.
4. Scoop up the bubbles in the container into the palm of your cupped hands.
5. Stand with your hands reaching out in front of you, with your palms and bubbles facing. up
6.Light your hands.
7.DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME.
